Sundog Quarter Horses

Ima Real Rio Ruby (Chino) is a 1998 dun mare, she's 14.3 1125#. She is an own daughter of Ario King, and is also Beau Bonanza, Mr Blackburn 14, & Watch Joe Jack bred. Chino has 11 crosses to King, 11 crosses to Little Joe, and is 18.75% Beau Bar Mujer-bred. Her 1/2 brother sold for $36,000 at the WYO auction in May '03. (pg 264-Aug. issue of the QH Journal). Another 1/2 brother won Reserve World Champion 2 & 3 year old stallions class at the World Foundation Horse Show in September 2003. Chino has 501 Halter points, and 306 performance points in her 4 generation pedigree. She was shown her 1st time in halter (right out of the pasture) and took first place in her class (of 22) and also overall Reserve Champion Sr. Horse. Chino is handy on cows and does well in penning & sorting.

King Badger Jackie (BJ) is a wonderful bay mare with loads of talent and a pedigree chock full of Quarter Horse performers and legends. BJ is an own daughter of Mr Barbie Cody Jac, out of a direct daughter of Bailey Joe x King P-234. She’s friendly, beautiful and is a finished reining horse and lot of fun to ride. 

Fancy Licorice Stix (Cinder) is an elegant 1988 black mare. This mare is one of the nicest riding horses around. She'll get right after a cow, runs barrels & poles, and rides very well right down the trail. She's a big mare, about 15.1, 1250+ lbs., has legs and hooves of steel. She’s been one of our best producers so far. She is a granddaughter of Deck of Stars, and a great-granddaughter of Tuffernhel.  Sold!

Two T Julia Jackson (Jackie) is a grey 2002 mare straight off the famed Two T Ranch. Her pedigree doesn't have a single hole in it, and is composed of AQHA legends;  this filly’s sire, Two T Easter Mumps,  is an own son of Easter Gentleman out of a daughter of Mumps (Mumps is a own son of Hollywood Gold) and she's out of a daughter of Easter Gentleman and Joe Hancock-bred mare, Two T Shenandoah. She qualifies as a Steeldust, (No Thoroughbreds in her pedigree born after 1939), and she is 62.5% Easter Gentleman, 16.6% King P-234, 14.06% Buck Hancock and 12.11% Zantanon-bred. Sold!

Maysdorf Pretty Pam (Cricket) is a 2000 buckskin mare, bred on the Haight Ranch in Gillette, WY. This little mare was born with a halo over her head and it hasn’t tarnished a bit yet! She’s sweet, gentle and kind. She’s got a ground-covering walk, muscle to burn and a want-to-please-you attitude.

Mays Double Dolly (Fable) is a 2000 3/4 sister to Cricket. Same deal– just a wonderful mare with a great personality.  Both these mares have sound hooves and legs, muscular builds and both are gentle and kind-hearted.

Ruby Chex, a 2006 dark dun filly, out of Ima Real Rio Ruby (Chino above) by Two T Gen Jackson. She’s a doll– quick, smart and fun to ride. She’s had 75 days professional reining training and is coming along well. We’ll be keeping this one for sure. She’s showing a lot of talent with big stops and turnarounds. She’s got loads of ability and a pedigree to match.

Mainly Mia, a 2006 grullo filly by Mainly Marty, out of our great mare, Fancy Licorice Stix. She’s becoming a fine filly– solid legged like her dam and the beautiful head of her sire. Everything in the middle turned out just right too! Sorry folks– this one’s not for sale either.

Mainly A Nasty Girl (Nasty) is a gorgeous dun 1993 mare, with a large hip, deep heart girth and straight, strong legs & hooves. She's got a fabulous personality (despite her name) and we're very proud to have her in our herd. She’s cowy, agile and great in timed events, on cattle or just heading down the road. Her sire is Mainly Marty, and her dam is a daughter of Ultra Bonanza (son of Coy's Bonanza). Sold!
